Principals
Ian Roe is the principal
responsible for client services. This includes the oversight
and management of the consulting practice, the creative development
team and production services. He is also a producer, writer,
director and editor for the video division of Ear-Shot.
After graduating from Memorial University
with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1990, Ian went on to
play lead guitar for PolyGram recording artists "Young Saints".
The band recorded several top 15 hits in Canada and toured
the country with groups such as "Glass Tiger" and "The Tragically
Hip". In 1995, Ian completed his Post Baccalaureate in Communications
at Simon Fraser University and started in a new direction
by forming Ear-Shot Productions with his childhood friend
(and former drummer from the Young Saints), Alex. Ian is member
and past Board member of the International Association of
Business Communicators (IABC) and a member of the Documentary
Organization of Canada.
